Rome Travel Website
This project is an idea for a complete tour website for Rome that combines usefulness with a unique artistic vision. Instead of photos, the site uses custom drawings made in Adobe Illustrator to show how easy it is to use and how interesting the stories are. The design focuses on making navigation clear, making the site look good, and giving users a more engaging experience. The website tries to catch the timeless beauty of Rome while also showing travel information in a new, up-to-date way by using carefully chosen visual language and structure.
This original project was created in Figma, therefore it is a conceptual website.
Going more in depth with the branding of the Rome Website, I created more visual identity through other items that may involve the city of Rome! Such as Instagram tiles, a brochure, a poster, and a commercial video.

It all begins with an idea but who does the idea appeal to?
Creating a persona helps define the purpose of job at hand.
Therefore, Maya helped me make a more user friendly navigation with the use of illustrated visuals throughout the website.
Creating a persona is an essential step in user-centered design. It helps the designer make choices based on empathy, making sure the finished product fits the wants, needs, and actions of the target audience. By creating a clear face, the project gets direction and consistency. The persona guides everything from the tone of voice to the ways people can find their way around. Personas are the building blocks of this project's travel experience, making it feel familiar, natural, and important.
This image is the website map. Showing what you can navigate to and from on each page.
The sitemap establishes the logical structure of the travel website, ensuring intuitive navigation and a seamless user flow.
In order to expand the visual brand beyond the website, I made a brochure, a poster, and Instagram tiles. Through typography, color palette, and illustration style, these products keep things consistent, making the brand experience consistent across all platforms. Original photos are used in social media posts, which balances the website's illustrations with pictures from real life to make it more real and interesting.
